My Coach Training Experience

For the last two days, I attended AKLTG coach training. & honestly, it was hell of an experience! I regret not going for it earlier last year since my camp in May. Although there were several family circumstances that held me back, if only I put in more effort to adjust it. Ah well, the past does not equal to the future!! I really liked the last two days. I might not be chosen as a coach, I might not be the most outstanding one, but the experience and what I have learnt i really cannot able to express in mere words. And to think this is only my first training. A few moments ago, I was surfing facebook and found the more experienced coaches' blogs etc. I really envy how much closer they bonded to one another regardless of age, school, state, race etc. Hopefully, one day, I would be there too. I like most of the people I met. Like Danny said, identify those friends you have not identified. (it is actually carries a deep meaning when you think about it.. hmm..)

The awareness that I still have so much to learn somehow does not make me feel hopelessly incompetent, but excited to take in so much more knowledge there is out there. All I need to do now is to push myself out of my comfort zone. :)

Things I Like

yup, things i like. that is the title of a song kar men, athia & i composed. it was sort of like.. a product of the inspiration we had after the song kar men & athia did for aj rafeal, mainly. :) it is very heartwarming to be 'jamming' (i can't use the word: jamming without adding apostrophes cuz i am still a noob wth wahahahahha) in athia's cold room & dancing to Michael Jackson's Thriller and occasional food snacks in between! life seems to fall into its equilibrium like that. :D

When we do a video recording of the song,"things i like", i will post it up! at the mean time, check out the one kar men & athia did previously at kar men's blog.

On another note, i went to watch 2012 with penang ah ma, tua ee, mum, sis and hui ling two days ago. Edward, i have to disagree with you. xP i thought the movie was pretty darn good! okay, perhaps the first quarter of the movie could have gone better. and some scenes were pretty repetitive but still! the special effects? mind-boggling! :D

F1 trip was.... zZ. ;P When the school says F1 trip, do not expect them to bring you to some geng chow F1 race track. It was a mini one in Mid Valley's exhibition hall. Quite cool la... but still, potong betul. Kudos to Eirene to enduring the school's admin work in taking attendance, collecting the forms etc. despite the crap ppl can give sometimes. :)

Busy week. Despite that, it has been unproductive for my academic well-being. xP I scored 4As this term! My goodness... :( I need to go up a notch to achieve my ideal results. And that starts this friday! :D

Empty Benches in A Park

i had a close to brutal week emotionally. but like they say, every cloud has a silver lining. :) Lots of revelation and realization. Bah, I will describe more about that later. Lazy.

To my dear friends who will be sitting for the dreaded SPM examinations soon, best of luck! Do not think about it as a chapter in your life you have to go through. Just push with all your might and give it your all regardless if you think that it is important in your life or not. (this is mainly for you, Ju! study lah!) Think about how trivial it is AFTER you give it your all, okay? What do you have to lose, anyway? Since everyone IS studying afterall. Hahah.

Penang Ah Ma & Tua Ee just arrived and they are downstairs admiring my mother's wedding album. Heh. Feels good to have more family around. Ah Ma wants to watch 2012! Wow.. *state of shock*

What have i been up to? Young Enterprise Award Ceremony (DUKE won best enterprise etc. etc.), YE AGM, SJAM Nursing Course, and all other mumbo jumbos in between. (this is why i need to get myself a journal which i will consistently jot down the details of my life.)

Hong Ling's, Hash's & Niki's

Hong Ling's Party

Hong Ling's party date was the most strategic! It was held right after exams ended last wednesday. If it wasn't for her party, i think i would just be stoning at home after exams. Now, what fun is that? :P



The party was very enjoyable to me! The food was awesome and I got to mingle with people whom I don't usually do.


Hash, Me, Euodia, Kar Men, Nikita & Sunno.

People were taking photographs, starting the barbeque pit, Playstation-ing, Poker-ing etc. etc.



The highlight of the event was definitely the pinata! It was my first time watching the pinata game being played. Hehehe.



Hong Ling. (Pinata did not break)



Guo Rong. ROFLMAO. Leon Tai delibrately took out the pinata so Guo Rong was left hitting the air. It was a hilarious sight! Everyone was in fits of laughter! (obviously, pinata doesn't break -.-)



Hsu Zen! Walao. Damn power. She is so good at it we suspect she practices at home! Obviously, the pinata broke and sweets were scattered all over the floor for everyone to grab! :D (pinata breaks! :D)



Hong Ling & Fifii (add math tuition doggie). Fifi never fails to slightly cheer me up during add math tuition when i ber-stress! Happy sweet sixteen, hong ling! You throw an awesome party, yo! Hong Ling is damn cute i tellyou! She oversleeps often and i usually see her either in giggles or serious-face for add math. hahahahaha.

Sorry i had to leave the party early! I bet the cake was good. Cause i loved the one i had for my surprise at your house ;)



Next up, Nikita's Surprise Birthday



Niki's mum decorated the house so beautifully with helium-filled balloons and a striking 'Happy Birthday' banner!



Derek looks so funny in contrast with all the balloons, doncha' think? ;)

We were all hiding behind the couch. We had a few false alarms before the actual, real nikita approached the house. We jumped out and shouted,"Surrprise!" with a cheesecake, 'papparazi', presents, a song and us lah obviously. hahahah.



Nikita was indeed very very surprised by all of it! She was literally in tears. Kudos to Manoj & Niki's mum! ;)

Nikita's mum cooks the most delicious indian food! I always, always have a second serving when Aunt Sheila cooks!



Happy sexy sixteen, niko! :D Glad you liked it! Hm. How can i briefly tell you about nikita? Most evidently, she talks.. a lot. When nikita really starts talking, the guys would say, "pause lah, nikita! oi, comma, nikita!" but i think she's special like that! and she's always been very mummy-like towards me :D she listens to me when i rant and not a lot of people can withstand that before feeling like slamming the telephone back to its receiver! xoxo



Last but definitely not the least (and you can trust me on that), buddy hashveena's birthday! It was a BBQ party and the food was super duper yummy. It was really nice of you to invite sis along, ya! ;) big hugg.



Hashveena's brother was attempting to be a proffesional photographer and manned aaron's dslr for the day to snap a gazillionn pictures! The most hilarious part was, for every picture taken he has to say these trademark lines:

"Nice!" or "Very Nice!" or "Very very Nice!" or "Extremely Nice!" or "Excellent!"

this has been a very eventful week. Tomorrow is the YE Showcase @ Grand Dorsett Hotel, Subang Jaya. The running for best enterprise has now narrowed to SMK Damansara Utama and SMK Subang Utama! May the best man company win!

Movie Review: The Time Traveler's Wife *no spoilers!*

I have read the book. (which is very 18SX btw.) & i loved the plot and storyline. I like the fact that she knew him since she was six but he only met her when he was in his 20s. I think the only downside to this movie when compared to the book is the depth of the characterization, they missed out some characters, and the fast pace of the movie. Other than that, for a movie version of a book, i would have to give a thumbs up. Usually, i would say that the movie sucks compared to the book but this, is worth watching. ;)



With a dynamic cast (Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams), you know that you are in for a treat! Rachel portrays Claire beautifully with her vibrant personality. And Eric Bana is just, well Eric Bana! ;) What can i say? Muni thought that they did not have a good on-screen chemistry but I thought it was pretty good. The romance they had made me all mushy and jello inside. And it felt nice. Maybe it is because of the lack of it in my life. Wahaha. Joke.

My KWN reunion + 2

I went to One Utama with my Panasonic Kid Witness News (KWN) 2008 teammates plus two! (Hash and Becks!) It was a good day out. :D

We watched Time Traveler's Wife (hence the review above) and had lunch at Fish and Co.

The service at Fish & Co. was beyond horrible! (lack of manpower) If the food is not so awesome, i would never ever go back there. But... nice food.... bad service... how?? xP

One Utama was super crowded because S.H.E (taiwan band) was making an appearance for Osim. Yeahp.



A big thank you to my two dear friends athia & kar men for teaching me the basics to play guitar. I am hooked! If anyone has a guitar (regardless, classical or acoustic) to borrow me for one month, you'll be doing me a huge favour and i'll give u chocolates :D:D your guitar will be returned before i head off to penang in mid-december. ;)
